Redev AI Ltd trading as Fogsphere (“Fogsphere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a UK-based provider of enterprise AI software and related services.

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when:

  • You visit our website;
  • You interact with us as a customer, partner, supplier, or prospect;
  • you use our products and services in a controller context (e.g., account administration, billing contacts, support contacts); or
  • you otherwise communicate with us.

This Notice applies to business contacts and website users. It does not apply to personal data processed by our customers within their own deployments of Fogsphere software, where we act as a data processor/service provider under contract (see Section 3).

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Fogsphere acts as:

  • Controller for website data and business contact information; and
  • Processor / Service Provider for customer data processed under our software and services agreements.

3.   Customer Service Data (Processor Role)

When our enterprise customers deploy Fogsphere software (e.g., Edge AI, Fogsphere Manager, MistIQ), they determine:

  • The purpose of data processing
  • Lawful basis
  • Retention periods
  • User access policies
  • Signage/notice requirements
  • Data subject request handling

In those cases:

  • Fogsphere acts as a Processor (GDPR/UK GDPR) or Service Provider/Processor (US state privacy laws).
  • We process customer data only under documented instructions set out in the applicable contract and Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
  • We do not sell customer data.
  • We do not use customer datasets for advertising.
  • We do not use customer service data to train, fine-tune, or develop models for other customers except with the customer’s express written authorization (e.g., via a contract or DPA).

For privacy questions related to operational systems (e.g., CCTV, workplace monitoring, smart city deployments), individuals should contact the organization operating that system directly.

Where we provide optional remote support, diagnostics, or professional services, any access to customer environments and any processing of customer personal data will be governed by the applicable contract and Data Processing Addendum (DPA), including security measures and subprocessors (as applicable).

4.   Information We Collect (Controller Context)

4.1.   Website and Contact Data

When you interact with our website or contact us, we may collect:

Fogsphere is headquartered in the United Kingdom.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as:

  • EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
  • UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or UK Addendum
  • Other lawful transfer mechanisms

9.   Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including legal and compliance obligations. Typical retention periods include:

  • sales inquiries and prospect communications: up to 24 months after last interaction;
  • marketing contacts: until you opt out, or up to 24 months after last meaningful engagement;
  • customer/partner contacts (account administration): for the contract term plus up to 7 years (e.g., tax/accounting and dispute resolution);
  • website security logs: typically 30–180 days, unless needed to investigate incidents.

Customer-hosted operational data processed within customer deployments is retained according to customer-defined configurations and contractual terms.

10.   Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including:

  • Access controls and least privilege
  • Authentication controls (including MFA where applicable)
  • Encryption in transit
  • Secure development practices
  • Change management and logging

Security controls are continuously reviewed and updated as appropriate.

11.1.   Additional Disclosures for Certain U.S. State Laws

For purposes of certain U.S. state privacy laws, we do not “sell” personal information and we do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use personal data for business purposes described in this Notice, such as operating our website, managing business relationships, providing communications and support, and complying with law.
