Debris and foreign objects in lanes

Flags loose material in a traffic lane, including objects the model has no class for.

Unknown objects in-lane

Surfaces anything in the running lane that does not belong there, without needing a prior class for it.

Materials and pallets blocking vehicle routes

Detects staged material that has spilled out of a laydown area into a vehicle route.

Blocked dock approaches and loading-bay access

Identifies obstruction of the approach to a dock or bay before a trailer is committed to it.

Draw the zone, set the rule, set the dwell, count and confidence thresholds. Rules differ by area, shift and task, because sites do.

Risk & control objective

The Q3 logistics, transportation and automotive papers all treat a blocked vehicle route as an operations event as much as a hazard: a blocked lane is a lane that produces reversing, improvised routing and vehicle–pedestrian mixing that the traffic plan never anticipated. The transportation paper adds foreign object debris on aprons and taxiways, where the object itself is the exposure.

The control objective is a live picture of which vehicle routes are usable, with obstruction duration held per route. What the operator gains is both a hazard record and a dispatch input — the blocked-route view that lets a yard or site controller re-route before the queue forms rather than after.
