Visible smoke and plume
Flags smoke in open yards, high-ceiling halls and outdoor areas where a ceiling-mounted detector would never reach.
Battery charging and quarantine zones
Covers the smoke and thermal-anomaly signature the Q3 automotive paper attaches to battery storage, charging and quarantine areas.
Smoking and vaping in restricted areas
Detects the behaviour itself in no-smoking, hot-work and flammable-atmosphere zones.

Draw the zone, set the rule, set the dwell, count and confidence thresholds. Rules differ by area, shift and task, because sites do.

Every event is logged with camera, zone, timestamp and a clip, so the record is reviewable afterwards and usable in a corrective action.

Integrates with what you already run
Events push into your VMS, alerting and reporting stack through Fogsphere Manager, with dashboards broken down by area, shift and crew.
Risk & control objective
Fixed point detection is designed for enclosed volumes with predictable air movement. A large part of an industrial site is neither: open process areas, high-bay warehousing, yards, laydown areas, forecourts and outdoor tank farms. In those places the first indication is visual, and the camera network already covers them.
The control objective is time-to-notice. Business-continuity and fire-safety frameworks care about how quickly a developing event reaches an operator with a location attached. Visual detection surfaces smoke with camera, zone and timestamp already on it, so the operator triaging the alarm is not also trying to work out where to look.
